Christmas Eve was great. Craig and his sons and wife, Alicia and their new little baby came for dinner. This year for the nativity we got Porter to play the part of Samuel the Lamanite high on a city wall. He did a great job and all the grandkids help build the wall. Good job everyone. Craig and Alicia's baby slept in the manger. So sweet This was the first year for Evelyn and Cody to by Mary and Joseph. They did a beautiful job too.Bonzi made a good sheep for Olivia the shepherd. Wesley was our first boy angel. He loved it since he knows that Angel Gabriel and Angel Moroni were both boy angels. The Sunday after Christmas, Verne had sub sandwiches made for the whole ward. He wanted to thank all for their dedication to indexing. The ward reached their goal of doing 1,000,000 names.

Moms Birthday Party
Funnest birthday ever!We played Christmas songs with the bells, we played the “right” “left” game. We pass wrapped gifts around the circle to the right or left depending what the story says to do. When the story is over, whatever gift you have in your hands you get to keep and unwrap. Of course, a picture with Grandma (the birthday girl) at the end.

The Demolition begins on the Master Bath
We get a new shower!!! Thanks to Logan, Brandon and even Baylor, walls were smashed down and new wall were about to be made. The old shower had to be cut in two pieces to fit out the door. We took everything out the back door into the trailer. Just as we began to open the ceiling up to raise the shower, the weather turned freezing. The framers were very cold and the room was soooooo frigid. Burrrrrrrrrrr By the end of the week walls and ceiling were up and the room and the weather became warmer.

Thanksgiving
This year we got to have 2 Thanksgiving meals. We went to Roy, UT at the first of the month, and cooked one of the turkeys we raise here in Vancouver. The meal and the rolls and the pies. . . everything was perfect and delicious. Avin, however, just wanted to fall asleep under the table so he ate later. True had to model her beautiful dress before church and her mom fixed her hair like a princess. Avin sure likes his big brother Cohen. On the 27th we had dinner at our house, but first Lindsi and family had to host a turkey trot around the park by their house. We all participated also the Lachers joined in on the fun. The run was the same run Brooklyn runs for her cross country team. She is quite the runner . . . she won.Now for dinner. Logan and family had dinner with Ashley’s parents this year but they came over for a taste of pie after and we got to sample some of her delicious pies too.
