Avin's Blessing

Everyone wanted to see the new baby, so it's time for a road trip to UT.

We left on the 23rd of July. We stopped in Boise and spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa Manship. Porter really wanted to play cars with Grandpa so he brought him a "hot wheels" of his own. When we got to UT we met Verne and Brandon who flew in on Fri. They were quite refreshed!!! On Sunday Lindsi and family drove from Orem to Roy for the blessing. We missed Logan, who was home with Bonzi.

The Blessing was great and the day was HOT. Heidi had all of Ryan's family over to their house for a delicious lunch.

We took the men to the airport on Mon. (Ryan went too) and the women were on their own with 11 children. 6 of the kids were in diapers!!! We generated more garbage, enough to start a new landfill.

We shopped, swam, played at the water park and had a good time. We really wore Heidi out.

On Friday July 31 we got in 3 Suburbans and headed to McCall,ID. With no men with us we felt a little like the pioneers who sent their husbands off to join the morman battalion. We prayed for safty and we arrived in McCall about 4:00 p.m. that night.

We stayed in some beautiful accomodations that Grandma and Grandpa paid for. Our place was called the "Lake House" with our own private beach we felt spoiled. We met the men, who drove in Brandon's car, when they arrived from Vancouver. We had a great time in the mountains by the lake.

This had been a very eventful Summer.
