Hair cuts, Hot tub, and Court of Honor

Of course the kids want to play in the HOT TUB.   Since Heidi is expecting she couldn’t be in the HOT TUB so Callie took all the kids  in.   Cody was at the house and he had fun too.   Heidi was fine to do “HAIR CUTS” though!!!  Now the Hill girls are triplets!!!   MaryLeigh’s hair was very long and she went to school and all her friends told her how cute it was.   Lindsi talked Callie into cutting her long hair. (we like it)

Callie is the Cub Master for her ward and Porter is a Wolf.   Callie has so much fun (and so does Porter)   It’s nice because Logan is the Bear Leader and they get to work together.   Porter earned some awards and his Wolf leader said he really earned the awards fast.

Jumping Jimmer and the Blazers

Well, aren’t these guys lucky!!!    The Portland Trailblazers played basketball while Heidi and the kids were visiting from Utah.    So, Cohen, Nathan, and Brooklyn, got to go with Casey and Verne.    Casey got the tickets for this game because he wanted to see a player named JIMMER.   JIMMER played with the BYU basket ball team and now he plays professionally for the Sacramento Kings and the BLAZERS were play the Kings.     The sad part of the night is . . . Porter was sick and he and Brandon had to stay home.   Porter was sick for about a week.   His dad took him to another game a few days after he felt better. (He loved it)

Snow . . . Rain . . .Wind Oh my!

After the snow and rain, the wind the next day took down our vine maple that Verne planted 27 years ago.   We got the tree and a few other vine maples from Milo’s house when he lived in Brush Prairie, WA.   Verne cleaned up the 5 trunks and limbs and the grandkids stacked up the logs and put them in the wood pile.    Porter, MaryLeigh, Nathan, and Evelyn earned a little money that day.  

January brought us the snow!

After a dry Christmas, a snow storm came in the night on Jan. 17th.    We were so happy to see beautiful snow.   We took pictures at midnight because by morning the 3+ inches were melting and the wet snow didn’t last very long.    The kids had a snow day and enjoyed the last skiffs of their beautiful white playground.
