First stop Zion National Park. We camped at a camp ground in tents, just outside the park. It was very cold at night. We bought long sleeved shirts to help keep us warm at night.
A hike for the brave is called “Angel’s Landing” Not for the faint of heart. Verne, Ryan, Cohen and True did it. WOWThere was a chain for holding on to as you went up to the top and made the Scary decent. On to the next park…Bryce Canyon Nation Park. and Goblin Valley and Arches National Park. Utah really has amazing land formations. Breathtaking! We had to find shade as we climbed up to Delicate Arch and South Window Arch. We were so glad Heidi encouraged us to bring spray bottles with water. It was a very hot day. Everyone we saw wished they had one. We squirted some people and they loved it. NICE!
Time to go back to our picturesque camp site. ??? Yes, this is the site that the wind blew us and all the tents and camping equipment all over the park. Verne still never found one of his socks. Of course, the wind is what made this area look this beautiful millions of years ago. Thank you!
This rock formation is called the three wise men.
I can see it!! Six days of camping . Wow.
This is a gorgeous night picture at Goblin Valley. So many Slot Canyons. We packed our lunches and did an all day hike. The temperature was hot but the rocks made shadows of cool shade. Best Lunch ever!So many fun photo opps. So happy I made it.
