Logan’s Fence, Indian Heaven, Heidi and Ryan are here
Heidi and Ryan came to Vancouver for their annual visit. Verne and Ryan helped Logan build his fence on Thursday. On Friday, the Dad’s promised the boys they would take them to Thomas Lake in Indian Heaven Wilderness area. They were going to spend Friday night and Saturday night. Friday night went well even though some of their hiking- in to camp was across fields of snow. Dinner looked good and everyone was happy then night fell and so did the RAIN. By morning they were ready to pack up and come home. A camping trip wouldn’t be compete without a stop at I-HOP for breakfast. Boys like to eat, RAIN or SHINE!

Devils Tongue and the 4th of July
Years ago Perry gave us a plant that he called “Devil’s Tongue” we have had years of fun watching it grow and amazing everyone how much it STINKS. It even attracts flies it stinks so much. Oh well, it really is an interesting plant. The forth of July was great. The weather cooperated and it was sunny and warm. We made homemade ice cream, and ate hamburgers with the Dyer family. We joined the Foltz family later that night for the most amazing firework display ever. It really does get better. Thank to our pyroclastic engineers, Larry, Doug, Brandon, and Rick. We are glad that Brandon didn’t get hurt too bad. (He had a firework explode too soon and really scared us.)
