I went on a 50 mile hike that turned into 56 miles. The Venture, and Varsity scouts, Todd Gleason, and Larry Foltz were on this hike to the Three Sisters Wilderness Area. We hiked all the way around all three peaks. We climbed 10800 vertical feet, and went down 8200 feet. I blistered my feet! This area is spectacular. Lots of water and snow. The first day was beautiful, sun, rain, thunder, lightning, and hail, big black clouds. This was the best 50 miler I have done, no boys dragging behind. I put snow in my hat to help keep me cool. It worked great.Mosquitoes not as bad as 14 years ago with Logan. Boys that went were:
Cameron Johnson, Zack Hale, Taylor and Kyle Gleason, Chris and Anthony Pierre, Aaron Brandley, and Josh Schmidt. When we finished we had dinner in Bend at the Red Robin. Food never tasted so gooooood.

Talk about brain freeze! Looks like a ton of fun I have never done one and would really love to do it some day.
I'm seeing a theme to your pictures...the boys were lucky to have such an awesome leader!!! They'll have great memories!
