It's the new year and what could be more fun than a trip to Mt. Hood for a nordic ski trip. We went to Whispering Woods Condos. with the Dyer's. Did a little hot tubbing, movie watching, and the next day we went to Mt. Hood Meadows. It was a perfect day, with the sun shinning and the snow was cold and powder. The course had not been groomed, but that didn't stop us. We put Verne out in front and we blazed our own tracks. By the time the forth person went down it was a beautiful ride. We will definitly be going back in Feb.

That looks so fun, I haven't cross country skiied in forever, although the most memorable time for me was our trip to Sunriver where callie fell into the stream. Good times!
I love that picture Verne took over his head. That's awesome. : ) This makes me wish I knew how to ski.

Verne certainly has a talent for multi-tasking. His pictures which include himself skiing, balancing, and focusing while managing to include other bodies are priceless! Glad you guys had a fun time!
I love crosscountry skiing, looks like you had such a fun time. The winter scenes are so beautiful.
